You know how it is in shops - you often see a tin on the counter....
Well, people often pass on that odd penny change, and many times even more. So we have a tin too, and it is quite amazing how much a charity can benefit from this kind of simple giving.
We support the excellent work of the Peru Children's Trust because they try to ensure that as much as possible goes directly to help the children and young people – keeping administration costs to an absolute minimum. So here's an opportunity to see value for your money.
The Peru Children's Trust
Formed in the UK in 1997, the Peru Children's Trust is an independent Christian charity, assisting extremely poor orphans, children and families in Peru, whose circumstances have been affected by the economy and the effects of years of civil war. It currently operates in the shantytowns and poor areas of Huancayo (population 500,000) and its surrounding villages.
